Sony Mavica Digital Has anyone purchased the new Pentax D-SLR's?
I'm looking at these digital cameras. I've got several lenses from the K mount to the screw on type, that are not being used. I've got a Sony Mavica CD-1000 digital camera and it has seen extensive use. I'm in the Advanced Amateur catagory.
The K110D an K100D are entry level models, but they get good reviews. Recently the Pentax community has been buzzing about leaked specs for the K10D, which will be a mid-level dSLR. The official announcement is tomorrow.

Lens Sony Camcorder Will this fisheye lens work on my camcorder?
I have a Sony DCR-TRV320 Digital Handycam. I'm thinking about getting a fisheye lens for filming skateboarding. The fisheye lens I'm thinking about getting is the Opteka .43x HD2 fisheye lens for 37mm digital camcorders. This sony handycam happens to be a 37mm and uses video cassettes. My question is will this lens work on this camcorder which is kind of an old model? Or was this lens intended for newer models like the canon HF camcorders? I'm guessing it should work for all 37mm camcorders, but I could be wrong. In the lens there appears to be threads for screwing something in.

Sure, it will work fine! The lens really doesn't care how old your camcorder is as long as it's the right size (37mm). I've used accessory lenses (a closeup lens set) on an older camcorder with no problem.
Just for another pair of eyes, I confirmed that the filter size is indeed 37mm on your camcorder from the specifications page of its manual (available online -- link below).

which camera lens has the most zoom. my brother surfs and i want to pictures of him but the standard lens isn't enough. also how can i tell which camera has the farthest zoom if i need another one.
Well it's probably the focal length, which is measured in mm, and not the zoom you should be focusing on. The higher the number the further away from the subject you can be. Zoom is a lens where you can regulate this focal length between a shorter or longer distance.
