Ion Batteries Kodak I own a Kodak Easyshare 712IS camera. I recently purchased rechargeable?
lithium ion batteries for this camera. I charged the batteries and they do not work in this camera. Anyone else experience this problem ? or have any suggestions?
The manual says it will use the Kodak Li-Ion rechargeable battery pack, see page 58 of your manual. Download your manual from here

I see that the Kodak KLIC-8000 battery pack provides 3.7V. Did you get this battery pack?

It will also use a CRV3 Lithium battery pack. Kodak provides them and there are other brands.
Finally it will use AA Lithium batteries. Lots of brands for this.
Nowhere does it say it will use AA rechargeable lithium ion batteries. I suspect there is a voltage compatibility problem.

Aaa Rechargable Battery What is a good digital point and shoot camera?
I am looking to buy my daughter a digital point. and shoot camera. It must be easy to use and must NOT use AA or AAA batteries as she wears them out far to fast (ever the rechargables). It must have a plug in rechargable camera battery. I would like to keep the price in the $150.00 range and have it take decent pictures. 8+ MP would be nice. Anybody own or know of a camera(s) that would fit these specs?

Batteries Canon Powershot How long is battery life for Canon Powershot SD1000?
Should I keep the battery in the camera or leave it out when I'm not using it (to save energy)? Or does that not matter?
Could I leave the battery charging overnight (I know it says that the battery only needs 1.5 hrs to recharge) or would that harm it?
Does the camera indicate how much battery life is left? Does it beep when there's low battery?

Canon ( and Nikon's and probably others) use chargers that shut off once the battery is fully charged.
The camera usually lets you know when you need to exchange batteries. I have three and a grip that holds two of them . when one becomes depleted, I just put a fresh one in and recharge to depleted one ASAP
